History
AETEX is a Los Angeles–based research and product company focused on advanced protective materials and their application in everyday life. Through thoughtful design and material innovation, we explore how technologies traditionally associated with specialized protective equipment can become part of products designed for daily use.
Our work spans product development, material research and application, protective engineering, and testing and validation. By considering material performance, construction, weight, flexibility, usability, and design as parts of the same system, we develop protective solutions that balance technical performance with the realities of how products are carried, worn, and used.
This approach extends beyond individual products. AETEX works across product development, material research, and collaborative projects to explore new applications for protective technologies across different categories and contexts.
LINEA™ represents the first expression of this approach—a thoughtfully designed everyday bag that integrates ballistic protection without allowing protection alone to define the product.
